Trumpism and its Discontents
Challenge.
Design the cover art and book layout for Trumpism and its Discontents, a collection of papers critiquing the causes and implications of the political ideology and presidency.
Outcome.
It was important to the editors that the design reflects the critical but sober tone of the essays. We avoided imagery that caricatured or demonized Trump, and decided to use the now familiar red MAGA hats to evoke the president and his ideology.
